Power on: Turn the key/press the start button, and the current enters the electromagnetic switch.

Power on: Turn the key/press the start button, and the current enters the electromagnetic switch.
Pull in: The electromagnetic switch coil is energized, generating magnetic force that moves the iron core.
Mesh: The iron core drives the fork, pushing the driving gear to mesh with the flywheel ring gear.
Power supply: The iron core is in place, the main circuit is connected, and a large current flows into the motor.
Operation: The motor rotates at high speed and drives the flywheel and crankshaft through gears, starting the engine.
Reset: Release the key, the electromagnetic switch is powered off, the iron core, fork, and drive gear are reset, and the motor is powered off and stopped.

What precautions should be taken when starting the engine with a starter motor?

Time limit: Each startup time should not exceed 5 seconds. If the first startup fails, a second attempt should be made at least 15 seconds apart. Continuous starting can cause the starter to overheat, damage the insulation layer of the coil, and even burn out the motor.
